If you are what you should be, you will set the world on fire.” -St. Catherine of Siena
The mission is simple: to do fly and remarkable things and empower you to do the same.
I feel most alive when I’m creating. My most fulfilling experiences have been those that resulted in something made or performed, sometimes on my own but usually in collaboration with other people–as music, a film, a graphic design or special event. It wasn’t enough for me to make something average. It had to be remarkable. It had to be fly. Naturally, obstacles popped up that affected my flow. Doubts about my abilities, not having enough talent to finish (or start) a task, trying too hard to be perfect the first time or procrastinating to the point of no return. Not enough money/time/resources, there was always an excuse!
This site exists to help squash those excuses and free us to do our best work. To baffle the masses with creative projects that challenge conventions, design better businesses, lifestyles, and help people do the things that energize them the most. Sounds fun, right? Are you in?
Update: You can see more of me at my main site, abecajudo.com
It’s a work in progress. Depending on when you read this, you may be wondering, “for a website focused on flyness, why does it look so…blah?”. This is intentional. It’s a first step to get in the habit of releasing something fly enough (not perfect) into the world. Iteration and innovation are good things to build upon.
My one font (Georgia) will turn to two or three, and I’ll splash color, add images, video, and all sorts of cool functionality. It’ll be great, I should take “baby pictures” so we can see how much it grows. Suggestions welcome!
Every man’s work, whether it be literature or music or pictures or architecture or anything else, is always a portrait of himself.” – Samuel Butler
I’m Abe a.k.a. AHA!braham and I’m a big idea guy. Pleased to meet you. My brain is a giant rubber band ball of insights, movie scenes, design factoids and one-liners from Family Guy. I’m a multipotentialite that will probably change this bio three times in the next few weeks. I’m passionate about filmmaking, music, design, and sci-fi. I love working with youth and challenging them to question the rules and follow their passions down the unconventional path if they so choose. I’ve directed plays, sang in cafes, worked in post-production, web design, and online education. I even wrote and performed live sketch comedy for a few years. Humor is necessary for my well-being. Now I’m ready to take everything I’ve learned and apply that to entrepreneurship and solve new sets of problems for people that could use the help.
I’m ready to do something fly!
